Our center provides age-appropriate programs that are carefully designed for our children. We are licensed by the State of Pennsylvania and have certifications in CDA, Eco-Healthy Child Care PACCA, NAEYC and more. We are a STAR 4 rated facility by the Pennsylvania Office of Child Development and Learning.

Daily Before & After School Care
TCLA provide before and after care for school age children. We Offer assistance with homework and breakfast and/or healthy snacks. There is a bus stop for children to attend school which picks up and drops off using the Penn Hills School Transportation system.
Early Head Start
We offer FREE SERVICES To Toddler CHILDREN and their families based on income for children ages 0-3.
Early Head Start is a child development program primarily for low income families who meet the Federal poverty guidelines. Once enrolled, children are eligible for EHS until 3 years of age or when they are transitioned into an appropriate preschool setting.

Infant Program
Our infant program provides your baby with an early experience toward a lifelong love of learning. Our highly trained staff spend lots of time cuddling and talking to your infant to instill their trust and comfort. They also provide a healthy early learning environment for movement, exploration and communication.

Toddler Program
Attending our facility allow children to develop social skills early on which are valuable for their social and emotional development. ... Children can benefit cognitively from the activities and learning games offered at our center. They will learn:

Preschool Program
At Thomas Child Care and Learning Academy we use a learning curriculum which we believe will help your child grow, academically and socially; We also perform regular reviews of your child's progress and choose teaching and learning activities that are best for your child; With your assistance we also help your child adjust to pre-kindergarten and smoothly move on to kindergarten. We believe fun learning activities are the best way to gain and keep the interest of your child to be star student.
